I have enjoyed working as a physiotherapist since qualifying in 1990 in Glasgow. I have a broad experience working in the NHS and private sector.

Although able to assess and treat a wide range of conditions I also have a particular interest in treating sports injuries and in the rehabilitation of people with longer term conditions.  I am passionate about Pilates having completed a series of courses in Pilates with the APPI (The Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute). I use this rehabilitation principle with clients on an individual basis where appropriate to assist with recovery from injury or trauma as well as building resilience for the future. Management of breathing pattern disorders and respiratory conditions is also an area of great interest and job satisfaction.

Away from work I like to horse ride, swim (especially in open water!)  and ski when the opportunity arises. I also enjoy wildlife photography and making jewellery.
